Mt Kanchenjunga

Kanchenjunga is the third highest peak in the world. It has an elevation of 8,586 meters (28,169 feet) above sea level. It is on the border of Nepal and India, part of which is in Sikkim of India and the rest is in Taplejung district of Nepal. The first ascent of this mountain was made on 25 May 1955 by Joe Brown and George Band.

Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world and the second highest in Nepal. It has an elevation of 8,586 meters. It borders Nepal and India.It rank no 2  in top 10 mountains of nepal .

Lhotse

Mount Lhotse is the fourth highest peak in the world. It has an elevation of 8,516 meters (27,940 feet) above sea level. Makalu

Mount Makalu is the fifth highest peak in the world. It has an elevation of 8,481 meters (27,838 feet) above sea level. The mountain falls under the Mahalangur Range, on the border of Nepal and China, in the Sankhuwasabha district. Climbing it is harder than climbing Mt. Everest. According to NASA, about 9 percent of the climbers who went to Makalu have lost their lives.

Makalu Himal is not just a name associated with the international mountain region. It is also associated with the local tribal language and culture. Anonymous Kulung ‘Mangale’ has written in an online that Makalu was called Seselung by Kulung Rai.

Similarly, in the Sherpa language, Makalu has his own name. According to him, in the Sherpa language, Makalu is called Markhalogyu and Khempalung. The Nepali meaning of Markhalogyu is to return to the south and Khempalung means great deity.It rank no 4  in top 10 mountains of nepal .

Dhaulagiri

Dhaulagiri is the seventh highest peak in the world. It has an elevation of 8,167 meters (26,795 feet) above sea level. The mountain is located in the western part of the Dhaulagiri mountain range, which falls in the Myagdi and Mustang districts. The mountain was first climbed on May 13, 1960 by climbers from Switzerland and Austria.

The mountain belongs to the Mansiri Himalayan mountain range, which is located in Gorkha district. The first ascent of this mountain was made by Japanese climbers on May 9, 1956.

At 8,156 meters, Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain in the world and the seventh highest in Nepal. On the border of Gorkha and Manang, this mountain falls under the Mansiri Himalayan mountain range. It is also known as Manaslu Mount Killer.

Nubche

Nubche has an elevation of 7,861 m (25,791 ft). Nubache is a mountain in the Khumbu region of Solukhumbu district in Nepal. It is located at a distance of 2 kilometers from Everest. As it is located west of Mount Everest, it is called Nubche in Tibetan and Sherpa languages, which means Western Peak in English and Western Peak in Nepali.
